Week 4 is where everything comes together.
This is Performance Week — your opportunity to apply the harmony, rhythm, fills, triads, and melodic ideas you’ve built throughout the month.
In 4.1, you’ll perform the progression as written, bringing together the core elements in a clean, musical way. Focus on tone, timing, dynamics, and smooth transitions. This isn’t about adding more — it’s about executing what you’ve learned with confidence and control.
Keep the groove steady. Let the fills breathe. Make the melody sing.
In 4.2, you have freedom.
You can either play the arrangement as written, or create your own version by combining ideas from throughout the month:
Triads
Bar chords with fills
Arpeggiated picking
Bassline connections
Pentatonic melodies
Think of this as building your own arrangement. Choose what feels musical and natural to you. This is where personal style starts to emerge.
Finally, in 4.3, you’ll upload a video of your performance to Soundslice.
Recording yourself is one of the fastest ways to improve. It reveals timing, tone, and phrasing details you might not notice while playing. More importantly, it marks progress.
Don’t aim for perfection. Aim for musicality and growth.
Week 4 is about ownership.
You’re no longer just practicing exercises — you’re performing music.
You can upload a video of you performance here!
